Mr. Robin R. Zhao
is
managing partner of the firm, and he is an attorney-at-law,
patent and trademark attorney,
intellectual property judicial appraiser, registered copyright
agent. Mr. Zhao received his master degree
in intellectual property from Franklin Pierce Law Center in the
U.S.A., diploma of laws from All China Lawyers Training Center in
China, and his B.S. degree in Physics from Beijing (Peking)
University. He served as group chief with the CCPIT Patent and
Trademark Law Office for five years (1984-1988). He was an engineer
for about three years before his legal career. Mr. Zhao also worked
with the American law firm Irell and Manella for four years
(1990-1993) and had professional training at Banner & Witcoff and
Baker and McKenzie in U.S.A. He has extensive experience in patent
prosecution and invalidation, IP litigation and transactional
matters, and is also a frequent speaker of various Chinese IP laws.
He is a board member of China Intellectual Property Society, and a
board member of All-China Patent Agents Association, and a member of
FICPI, AIPPI, LES and INTA. He can conduct business in Chinese and
English.
