¤ Huizhong Lu: a patent attorney and a partner of the firm.  Mr. Lu received his M.S. in microbiology from China Research Institute of Microbiology under China Academy of Science, and his B.S. in food engineering from China Agricultural University.  Before his legal career, Mr. Lu worked for China General Microbiology Culture Collection Center (CGMCC) for three years, and took part in different research projects in relation to the genetics of Saccharomyces cerevisae.  He found several new ascomycetous yeast species by molecule technique, and cloned the flocculent gene and expressed in a yeast strain used in industry.  He focuses his practice on patent search and analysis, patent preparation and prosecution, patent invalidation, and enforcement matters in the field of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, bio-energy, and food related technology.  He is now a member of All-China Patent Agents Association and China Intellectual Property Society.  He can conduct business in Chinese and English.
