James Zhao, attorney-at-law and senior patent attorney.
James Zhao received his B.S. in electronic engineering from Tianjin University in 1993. He worked as an engineer at Beijing Thick-Thin Film Circuit Company for two years, and served as project manager and engineer mainly in the field of microelectronics and telecommunication in other company before joining Jeekai & Partners in 1999. He worked with IBM as a senior inside patent counsel from 2003 to 2009 and then rejoined Jeekai & Partners in 2011. Mr. Zhao focuses his practice on patent preparation and prosecution, patent invalidation, and patent litigation matters in the areas of electronics, computer technology and telecommunications. He can conduct business in Chinese and English.
