Robin R. Zhao, attorney-at-law, senior patent and trademark attorney.
Mr. Zhao has practiced the IP laws, especially the patent law, since the Chinese IP laws were established. He graduated from the Physics Department of Beijing (Peking) University, a Chinese law school and the Franklin Pierce Law Center in U.S.A (1989). Mr. Zhao once worked with the CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office as group chief for five years in China (1984-1988), and was a research engineer before his legal career. He also worked with an American law firm Irell & Manella for four years (1990-1993), and had professional training at Baker & McKenzie and at Banner & Witcoff in U.S.A. Mr. Zhao has extensive experience in prosecution, litigation and transactional matters of Chinese intellectual property. He is a board member of China Intellectual Property Society and a board member of All-China Patent Attorneys Association, and a frequent speaker in Chinese IP protection issues. He can conduct business in Chinese and English.
