Eligible Cambodian design patent applications can use the examination results made by the State Intellectual Property Office of China to request accelerated recognition and registration
One of the following conditions is met:
1. Cambodian design patent application claims priority off a Chinese design patent application; or
2. Cambodian design patent application and Chinese design patent application claim priority off the same design application, including international design applications filed under the Hague Agreement.
Procedures:
1. Complete the application form, including design name; application date; application number; applicant's name; relevant Chinese design application form.
2. The following materials are attached: a copy of the patent grant document of the Chinese design patent; three (3) from the date of submitting the request for accelerated design recognition and registration, translate the brief description of the Chinese Design Patent into English and Khmer within a month.
